Lets you make scheduling changes in the current project so that resources are not over-allocated.
If Automatic Leveling is off (in the Preferences dialog box from the Edit menu), MacProject II levels resources only when you choose Level Resources. If Automatic Leveling is on, MacProject II levels resources automatically each time it recalculates.
You can determine the order in which tasks are rescheduled by assigning a priority level to your tasks (in the Task Info
-- part contents for background part 7
----- text -----
window from the Task menu).
If you do not assign a priority, MacProject II assigns all tasks a priority of 100
(highest priority).
If tasks have varying levels of priority, MacProject II uses these levels to determine the order in which tasks will be rescheduled. If two tasks have the same priority, MacProject II moves the task with the greater amount of slack time so that the other task can take place as scheduled.
